Leadership & Teaching

Leadership

Director of Video Production

University of Maryland, Office of Marketing & Communications | 2023–present

For the past three years, I’ve led the university’s video department, creating content for university-wide communications, presidential initiatives and major campus events. I partner with senior leadership on creative direction for research documentaries, institutional announcements and campaigns, and oversee production workflows, scheduling, budgets and freelancers. Under my direction, the team raised the quality of its work while meeting growing demand, earning a Mid-Atlantic Emmy and multiple CASE awards.

Senior Producer

McClatchy Studios | 2018

Led a team of video journalists producing The War Within, an award-winning 10-part documentary series about U.S. military veterans of the war in Afghanistan.

Interim Senior Producer

The Atlantic

Oversaw production of short documentaries and explainer videos, guiding producers through pitches, production and post-production with editorial feedback.
